Hunting for hotspots

As usual, I discover things long after everyone else on the planet has. I've discovered the tv show "LOST" and am quite taken with it. It has everything I love: survival on a seemingly deserted island, intrigue, mystery, and the unknown. Like I say, it is highly addictive. However, this has developed problems for me twofold. Number one, I have been going without a lot of sleep and second I have overexceeded my broadband wireless card limits. In my craziness to keep seeing what would happen next in the past episodes, I ran over my 5GB limit and actually went to 6. Technologically I am studpid and didnt realize that streaming video costs so much. I do now. Lesson learned the hard and expensive way at .25 cents a megabyte. Well, I called my service provider, and they said they would work with me and let me off the hook this one time. I guess I will see how true they were to their word when the bill comes.  However, since the turnover date just passed days ago, I have to wait three weeks until i can seriously go surfing again. Guess I will be watching LOST and typing this blog at the local mall for the next three weeks.(free wifi)  Actually, I will not be watching LOST on my internet access card until prices come down. Guess I should have downloaded instead of streamed..

Just another voice in the universe....

Mine is just a another voice in a universe of voices. Nothing special here. So many things I want to accomplish but yet the need for endless hours of sleep. What is so wonderful about deep sleep.

·                     SAFETY! A strange feeling that I am safe even though I am at my most vulnerable when I am sleeping.

·                     ESCAPE! Like my friend Chris says, "There must always be an escape plan. Pull lever and jettison." When I cannot deal with this life, there must be a way to escape it. Some through there own devices never return.

·                     PLEASURE! It feels good, especially on a sound mind with not a worry in sight. The body after all must rebuild itself. Replacing spent cells with new building blocks to keep itself functioning. Ahhh. How soothing, but it is only this way because I am not alone and usually surrounded by those that I love dearly. What will happen if I outlive everyone that I hold dear. What will happen when I am alone. Living will be unbearable enough, but what about sleeping. Sleeping will be....well...a true nightmare.

The act of writing. What a chore it is. Talk about being all alone.
